Reagent dosing unit

The reagent dosing unit (RDU) is designed for storing and dosing scale inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, paraffin demulsifiers, hydrate formation inhibitors into the pipeline of the oil and gas transport and treatment industry, oil and gas wells for the purpose of in-pipeline demulsification of oil, protection of pipelines and equipment from corrosion, salt and paraffin formation, hydrate formation, etc.

The BDR reagent dosing unit itself consists of the following equipment:

a pump for filling the chemical storage tank;
a feed tank for dispensing chemical reagents;
dosing pumps (at least two: one is working, the second is a reserve) for automatic; regular introduction of a chemical reagent;
control and measuring devices: a flow meter, a tank level sensor, a pressure gauge, etc.;
internal piping;
stop valves: taps, valves, plugs.
Structurally, the block box is made in the form of a steel load-bearing frame of the block base and a light steel frame installed on the frame of the block base. The floor covering is spark-proof, oil-resistant, and non-flammable. To prevent flammable liquids from spreading outside the room, sides are provided along the perimeter. The lower plane of the base is made of a 4 mm thick steel sheet.

The design of the block ensures its stability in the longitudinal and transverse directions.

Climatic version and placement category according to GOST 15150-69 – UHL1.
Explosive zone class according to the Electrical Installation Code of the technological compartment – B-1g.
Room category – A.
Zone class according to GOST R 51330.9– 1.
Fire resistance level according to Federal Law No. 384-03, Art. 17 – IV.
Structural fire hazard class – C0.
BDR design and manufacture is carried out taking into account the parameters of the pumped medium, the required capacity and pressure, operating conditions and individual customer requirements.
