Gas reduction unit
It is designed to reduce the high or medium pressure of natural gas with non-uniform chemical composition to the required level, pre-cleaning of mechanical impurities and drying of gas, automatic maintenance of a set outlet pressure regardless of changes in gas flow rate and inlet pressure, automatic shutdown of gas supply in case of emergency increase/decrease in outlet pressure, technological or commercial gas metering.
The gas reduction unit (GRU) is designed to:
reduce the high or medium pressure of natural gas with non-uniform chemical composition to the required level;
pre-cleaning of mechanical impurities and drying of gas;
automatic maintenance of a set outlet pressure regardless of changes in gas flow rate and inlet pressure;
automatic shutdown of gas supply in case of emergency increase/decrease in outlet pressure;
technological or commercial gas metering.
The BRG can be used as an independent cabinet-type pressure reducing station or a gas reducing unit (if placed in heated premises) in gas distribution and gas consumption systems for various types of consumers (rural or urban settlements, public utility buildings, industrial and agricultural facilities, etc.).
The BRG is designed for placement and operation both in non-hazardous areas and in hazardous areas where mixtures of gases and vapors with air may form, classified as categories IIA and IIB groups T1-T4 according to GOST 51330.11.99. (IEC 60079-12-78).
According to the degree of protection from external conditions, the BRG is made in one of the following versions:
version B - in a block box;
version R - on a metal frame;
version SH - in a protective non-insulated, non-heated cabinet;
SHUEO version - in a protective insulated cabinet with electric heating; SHUGO version - in a protective insulated cabinet with gas heating.
The design and manufacture of BRG is carried out taking into account the required performance and pressure, operating conditions and individual customer requirements.
