Filter-water separator series FV
It is designed to clean light petroleum products (gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel and jet fuel) from mechanical impurities, low-temperature formations and free (undissolved) water, used both separately and as part of filtration units.
The filter-water separator (FW) is designed to clean light petroleum products (gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel and jet fuel) from mechanical impurities, low-temperature formations and free (undissolved) water, used both separately and as part of filtration units. The difference between filters and filter-water separators is that FW has elements designed to prevent the penetration of droplets of free (emulsion) water.
Category of product placement – 1, climatic version (macroclimatic region) – U, UHL, HL according to GOST 15150.
Depending on the seismicity of the placement area (according to the MSK-64 scale), filters and FV are manufactured in 2 versions:
- non-earthquake-resistant version for areas with seismicity up to and including 6 points - C0;
- earthquake-resistant version for areas with seismicity over 6 to and including 9 points when replacing support posts with cylindrical supports (C).
When ordering FV, please specify:
- FV type;
- maximum throughput;
- nominal pressure PN;
- nominal diameter of connected pipes DN;
- filtered medium;
- number of filtration stages;
- required filtration fineness for each stage;
- climatic version according to GOST 15150;
- seismic resistance version;
- presence of external anti-corrosion coating;
- version according to delivery set.
Examples of conventional designation FV 60-5-1.6-100-HL1-S0:
filter water separator (FV), with a capacity of 60 m³/hour, filtration fineness of 5 μm, with a nominal pressure of 1.6 MPa, installed on a pipeline with a nominal diameter of 100, climatic version HL1, in a non-seismic-resistant version C0.
At the request of the consumer, filters can be manufactured:
- heat-treated (T);
- with thermal insulation (I);
- with requirements for resistance to intercrystalline corrosion (M);
- export version (E).
The FV is manufactured taking into account the parameters of the pumped medium, the required capacity and pressure, the nominal filtration fineness, operating conditions and individual customer requirements.
