Filter for sucker rod pump
It is designed to clean the produced formation fluid from removed rock and mechanical impurities, to protect against mechanical wear, contamination and premature failure of the sucker rod pump valves and components of surface process equipment.
The sucker rod pump filter (SRP) is designed to clean the produced formation fluid from removed rock and mechanical impurities, to protect against mechanical wear, contamination and premature failure of the sucker rod pump valves and components of surface process equipment.
Description and operation of the filter
The sucker rod pump filter (SRP) assembly is installed on the tubing string under the SRP pump. The SRP is a prefabricated structure consisting of a perforated pipe with a slotted wire filter element, a receiving pipe.
A settling tank made of tubing pipes is installed below the SRP to trap mechanical impurities, and a plug is installed in the lower part of the settling tank.
There are two design versions of filters:
version 1 - slotted openings of the connecting pipe;
version 2 - round openings of the connecting pipe.
Version 1 - for high-flow wells, has a high throughput, higher productivity due to the large area of the slotted openings.
Version 2 - for low-flow wells, has a lower throughput, lower productivity due to the smaller area of the openings in comparison with version 1, higher strength of the filter part of the connecting pipe body.
The design and manufacture of the FShGN is carried out according to the technical specifications, questionnaire, taking into account the parameters of the medium being cleaned, the nominal filtration fineness, and individual customer requirements.
